February of 2000
Acts 29 began serving the nation of Haiti.
During our first 8 years in Haiti, we focused on building a church in Titanyen. The very first year, we witnessed the church grow from 63 people to over 600. It was exciting to be able to help put into place a Praise and Worship team that I thought was the best in Haiti. We were able to begin outreach from there to Minotree, Sourcematlas, Simonnette and St Gerard.
outgrowing in 2007
we began 2 new works in Packing and Ti-Plas.
In Packing, we would have a hundred women come together to worship God. It started under a tree, but quickly outgrew the area causing us to build simple structures of plastic tarps and tree branches. We were always blessed with a great shady place in Ti-Place. Many of the mature trees would help shield us from the sun and rain. The property was actually on Voodoo land and there would always be witchcraft things in the trees and ground. A couple months after, the voodoo land-owner accepted Christ and the church was born.
Everything changed in 2008
Haiti was struck with multiple hurricanes.
and we discovered section 4.
After seeing the devastation in the city of Cabaret, we began following the destruction up the river valley to an area called section 4. It is a very difficult area to reach due to the damage from the floods.
Since we began the work in Section 4, we quickly called that home. Acts 29 now ministers in 9 villages from the coast to the end of the road in the mountains above Cabaret. These villages include Malling, Bellanguer, Sophie, Koutonsou, Ti-Plas, Cammeau, Caslae, Germain, and Font-Blanc. We are able to reach entire age groups in each village by Kids Clubs, Youth Ministry, Womens Ministry, Widows Care Packages, Saturday School and Food assistance.
a new work began in 2011
we acquired property back in the mountains.
a village called Ropissa.
This will help us stay more localized to the villages that are difficult to reach. Because education is so lacking in that area, we are planning to build a small school to help the children of Ropissa. This area will also be used as a Missions Training Center that will teach Haitians how to reach their own people. We also expect to use it to help Americans experience the missions life and reach other nations through Haiti.
a education continues in 2016
156 students, 6 active discipleship programs,
& Widows Feeding Program.

ACTS 29 Staff.
JEAN BERNARD PHILIPPE GEORGES- human relations director
Jean Bernard first began working with us in 2007. It was amazing to see how he had such a gift to minister to children. In many of our meetings we would have adults in one area and children in another. After 2 years JB's leadership abilities began to show how he could direct many of our ministries while being able to bring others on staff to help accomplish all we do. Jean Bernard is our Haitian Director has been instrumental in taking Acts 29 to the next level.
CHELOR EXIL - Youth outreach coordinator
Chelor Exil has a tremendous gift to reach children and youth. He has a great ability to go into a village and begin assembling groups of people for our ministry outreach. These abilities has resulted in the forming of several impactful ministry groups such as our Discipleship teams. Chelor is in charge of all our youth activities. Whether the event is in our school or in a village, Chelor has the gift to make it relevant to the youth. Through his language education, he has also been instrumental in translating for American teams. Chelor has a heart after God and desires to see his nation changed.
JEAN MAXIME DESIR- technology director
Maxime Desir has a great talent for music and youth. We use his DJ talents to gather the youth for our Youth Ministry. Maxime has a great heart to reach children and youth in the villages around us. Once he sets up his computer and sound system, we will have hundreds of people gathering around to see and hear all that is happening. As well, he is in change of all our Widows Care Programs. From planning, purchasing and distribution of supplies for widows, he makes every outreach successful.
HENRYCLAUDE ALLIER - school principle
Henryclaude has become a valuable asset to all out outreaches in the villages. When his uncle Joseph was in an accident, Henryclaude stepped up to the plate and took on the responsibilities.. He was instrumental in seeing the bathrooms built in the city of Cabaret to help stop the spread of Cholera. He is also one of our leaders in our youth programs. Upon recently graduating, we are proud to now have him as the Principal of our school. Henryclaude oversees 185 students, their activities and all extracurricular activities at College of Acts 29.
